How Meditation Boosted My Confidence

There is no denying that I love an outfit. And at times I have been guilty of consuming the latest must-haves to make myself feel better. As much as it is OK to enjoy material things, there is only so long we can cover up what's happening inside with retail therapy and overindulging.

We are all born spiritual, but the materialistic world that we live in often knocks us off of our spiritual path. It has now become my mission to maintain a balance.

I have had a lot of time to think lately! Even though 2020 has been a challenge for us all, it has also been an excellent time for reflection. Although I have had a successful career, it has not always fulfilled my soul. Going within has been the best connection I have made yet, and I have found a fantastic community of like-minded women to share the experience, within 'Spinning Chakra's'. Spinning Chakras is an online community of women, led by the beautiful, (inside and out), @aineyzion. Taking the Spinning Chakras class and joining others who are also on their spiritual journeys, has given me the best confidence boost.

At the moment I meditate for one hour a day 3-4 times per week. Now I know that this may not be realistic for everybody, but I would urge you to set aside at least 5 minutes every day to give gratitude. You need to check-out so that you can check-in.

Meditation has 100% helped me connect with myself. When you completely tune out and go within, you can heal old wounds and traumas that you may not even realise that you still carry around with you.

In our quest for peace in this life, doing the inner work is fundamentally vital. Meditation also emphasises the importance of showing gratitude. Whether that be to the universe, or to god or whoever or whatever it is that you believe in. Verbalising your gratitude daily, or even writing down at least three things each day that you are grateful for, will set your day off on a positive note, and attract more of everything good that you desire into your life. For those that are new to meditation, I highly recommend checking out Spinning Chakras. And if you're already using meditation as a tool for fabulousness, then I would still recommend Spinning Chakras as a place where you will immediately feel at home.

Namaste,
